Garbage Antenna for Automotive Use

As my tests showed, this antenna is a complete letdown. While it may fit Chevrolet models, the signal quality is absolutely terrible. The pros are slim to none, but I suppose the design is sleek. Cons? The reception is terrible, it's flimsy and doesn't stay in place. Save your money and buy a different antenna.

WILL NOT FIT YOUR VEHICLE

We have researched this item and it says it will fit your vehicle. Not true. I have a 1999 gmc sierra and the connector that goes to the radio is too big. So I bought an adapter at a local radio store ($10) thinking I was free at home, wrong. A larger connector will not fit through a hole in a firewall and it is not possible to drill a larger hole where it is located. I had to thread it through the door hinges and tuck it back under the dash. Also, the base's triangular mounting holes didn't…

No AM Radio on Car & Vehicle Electronics

I bought this antenna to replace my 2001 Suburban. After looking at the picture of the mounting base on Revain, it turned out to be the same triangular, three-hole configuration. When it came in the mail I confirmed it was the same shape as the original. The screws were different, not turned, like the original, so I had to use the old ones - it's ok.
