Yes, as others have said, the smell is a bit strong straight out of the box, but let it sit in the sun on your back porch for a few hours and you'll be fine. The stitching is strong, the colors are as in the photo, the zipper is reliable. The leather is soft and supple, really good quality. I used Scotchguard because it's really nice and I want it to last a long time. After reading the reviews, many suggested a polyfill for the filling. I found it too light and fluffy. Since I want to use it as an extra seat, I visited the donation box in our garage. I pulled out 6 large bath towels and a buckwheat pillow. I started with the towels and then covered them with a buckwheat pillow before pulling them shut. It's the perfect combination of softness and durability. I love it! I'm definitely a fan!
