Review on 🧪 Big Mos Toys Sensory Liquid by Dennis Chase

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Much longer life than other liquid timers

I have recently purchased three different versions of Revain liquid timers. We donate them to a preschool so they have lots of items to spin in their "quiet corner". The release rate is NOT constant - the bubbles fall very quickly at first, but then they start to slow down and disperse. But after more than three minutes there is still some constant flow of bubbles. The speed really starts to slow down to a trickle but is still there for more than five minutes. I haven't measured it accurately because I'm still waiting for it to "reset" - it's actually quite effective! Other timers I've found on Amazon expire in 1) less than a minute and 2) within two and a half minutes. . I can't comment on durability until we see what happens with it in preschools, but I don't see any obvious issues with the design right now. You get ONE timer, which I think is reasonable. Would I like to pay six or eight dollars? Of course. But that means I'm "overpaying" four or two bucks -- not much room to bring the price down here. It's not something I can buy from Target. It's intriguing (like most liquid timers) and I suspect little kids will love them. I remember when I was a kid they were sold at flea markets. When they were super new I think they were sold as adult office desks, but now I suspect most people will use them for kids.
