Better OEM. Yes, you read it right!

I don't normally write reviews on Amazon but this is a great product. I think a lot of people blame this product for not working when the problem is actually the car's wiring. I restore Jeep CJs for a living and can attest that every pair of these sensors that I have installed have worked flawlessly. Yes, the wiring differs slightly from the OEM. See my charts in pictures. No, they are not much thicker than OEM sensors. Who says this didn't remove the brown backing before installing it in the case. No, I am not being paid to write this. I just want these products to stay and be available in the future! Why are they better than OEM? Three reasons: 1) Both run at +12V so you're less likely to accidentally burn them. The OEM temp sensor requires 5V (supplied via a voltage regulator in the fuel gauge). 2) The "open air" design of these signs allows the indicator lights to shine through the back of the sign, illuminating the marker. My last photo shows it. 3) They are regulated! All temperature and fuel level sensors have a resistance range for a specific temperature or fuel level (tolerances) and sometimes will not show an accurate reading on the sensor. Sensors have potentiometers that you can use to fine tune what the sensor reads.
