This does the job! Very sturdy. I tried the rubber bands around the legs, but my couch legs angle and they always slid off. I also have 4 kids who "ever so gently” sit on the couch. This kept the sections together.They are bigger than i thought, which i actually liked. Make sure you have about a 3 inch flat surface under your couch to drill/screw in the pieces.Mine had a little angle to them, but they still connected. I would recommend these over and over again
