2nd update - all audio renewal - there was a bad radio

a new update - only about two weeks received good sound, was happy with the radio, played well, later had some static radio outputs ALL SOUNDS . STILL LIT, SHOWS WHAT STATION BUT NO SOUND AT ALL - TESTED BLUETOOTH SHOWS THE SONG ON THE DISPLAY BUT THERE IS NO SOUND ALSO. TRIED TO RESET ALL SETTINGS BUT THERE IS NO SOUND EXCEPT A SMALL BEEP WHEN POWERING ON. SO NOW I HAVE A THREE INCH HOLES IN MY UNIT, WITH A BROKEN RADIO. AGAIN wanted to post an update - ordered a replacement MGR350B and hooked it up to the same speakers but on the "bench" and the new radio plays GREAT. Can you turn on the "Xbass" setting and it will play. It just so happens that I have a bad radio, learned the dyno test lesson before soldering and installing properly, and make sure it works. I have literally installed TENS radios for the last 40+ years and have never had a problem. Now I can do it the HARD way, either under the hood of the UTV with wires cut to length or start over and cut it off. all back. It sucks, but at least I found the problem. But with a broken back and psoriatic arthritis, it's going to be really painful to do under the hood. After spending all day soldering and shrinking and making sure all the connections are secure, I plug it into the dash, turn it on and it plays. . Try adjusting the equalizer sound and any bass above 3.5 volume will cause serious sound distortion. I changed the settings and found that this main unit just didn't have enough power output to drive four speakers with decent sound. Unplugging one pair or the other does the same thing, just with a little more volume than with four connected speakers. Any bass in combination with any volume leads to a complete failure of the sound. I installed the same speaker on my EZGO with a Sony head unit and it works without any issues. There isn't room in the Trail Wagon UTV dash to use a Din radio, so I had to go with this type of gauge that fits and looks good, but sounds terrible. fixed so no offshoots can pick up anything on the trail i have to go back and cut back everything under the dash and rewire for the under dash amp. I laughed a lot when I turned on the XBass setting this unit just said - no, at any volume above 10 it just turns off. No power for speakers. At LOW volume, this is a good device, you can get good sound. I'm going to put an amp in and see what happens, now that I have a 3 inch hole in the dash I need to somehow try to get the sound I want out of this unit. It looks good, but it also has to sound good. I will update after I receive the amp. Out of curiosity, Revain maybe sent me a bad new speaker, I hooked them up to my EZGO with a Sony head unit and they played fine. I was really hoping that this unit would work well without an amp as I don't want to add another device to the electrics to increase the output. Maybe I have a bad radio? I see a number of reviews bragging about how noisy it is.
