Review on 📺 Enhance Your Entertainment Experience with the DirecTV RC65 4-Device Universal IR Remote by Amber Westbrooks

I bought two of these remote controls for both of our televisions. It works well with our 46" Samsung LED TV but not with our 32" Proscan LED TV. I've searched the internet and DirecTV's help page and even contacted DirecTV but they refuse to help. None of the help pages or forum threads helped me find the right code to program this remote with a Proscan TV. I've tried all the Proscan codes, some RCA codes and all the NEC codes and none of them worked. That's very disappointing. TV is not very old. We just got it last June (2013) (free when buying a home from a builder). For your information, our Proscan TV model is PLDED3273A-BI. Not sure about the model of our Samsung TV but we've had it for a few years and it's not a smart TV. The rest of the remotes work great. The one we're using with the Samsung TV setup is perfect. No problem. And they both work with our Whole Home DVR system, both the main unit and the one mini box we use it with. I just have to keep the Proscan remote handy to adjust the volume and turn the TV on and off. I know, I know. DirecTV does not guarantee that every TV will work with their remote control, they only have codes for many brands and models of TVs. blah blah BTW the remotes I received were the RC65X model, not the base RC65 as stated in this listing. I don't know what the X would mean in terms of the functions or codes already included in the remote. But that was my experience. If one of the remotes suddenly fails and replacing the batteries doesn't fix the problem I'll try to remember to update this review.
