I bought this because I liked the idea of having a transparent back to show off the sleek design of my mum's Apple iPad. This way she could see the beautiful color of her iPad and what I had engraved on it while still protecting it with this case. Mom is a bit clumsy so I'm hoping the rubber boot will take the shock of her falls and won't tear, we'll see. The only thing I would wish is that the inside of the blue screen was more velvety or soft. Material to offer more protection to the screen. Because now the inside of the flap is just as hard plastic as the outside.
