Works on a laptop to add a monitor

I was about to spend $80-$150 on a Dell laptop dock to have 2 HDMI ports for 2 large monitors I bought for work from home. Looking at the docking stations, I found that they were all plugged into a USBC port that is on my laptop and not currently in use. This realization led me to find this product that solves my problem at a very low price. Instant success! In fact, sometimes I can buy a second to connect my phone or iPad to the TV. The device also saves me from buying another FireTV flash drive.
