Review on 16 Count EBL AA Rechargeable Batteries 2800MAh Ready2Charge Quality by Scott Rose

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Perfect powerhouse for portable electronics

EBL AA Rechargeable Batteries 2800mAh: $26.99 for a 16-pack at the time of reviewThis ain’t my first EBL rodeo. I’ve been using EBL batteries for about five years now. I first took a chance on them when I saw how much bigger of a capacity their AA batteries had. The rest is history. Including this purchase, I probably have between 50-60 EBL AA and AAA rechargeables (as well as a pair of XBox controller batteries).*What I liked*:These batteries never fail to impress with regards to longevity. We mostly use them in small household electronics like LED candles and when compared to other batteries, they always outlast the non-EBLs.The other great thing about these is the cost. At about $1.70 per battery they’re nearly half the cost of the name brand rechargeables like Panasonic or Sony.*What I didn't like*:The only complaint that I have is that they are a tiny bit bigger than average AAs. They have fit in everything I’ve put them in, but they are always a little tight.*The Bottom Line:*EBL is my go-to battery brand. They’re reasonably priced and power-packed. Five stars out of five. I’ve bought many in the past and I’ll buy many more.

Pros
  • They save you money over time, making them a smart, long-term investment
Cons
  • May not be as durable as other battery types
