I needed to replace the old drum in our Brother laser printer. I didn't want to spend the money my brother wanted so I went down this route not knowing how well it would work. At the same time I replaced the toner cartridge with a toner cartridge from a different manufacturer (different suppliers) and between the new drum and the toner cartridge the copies were as good as the day I bought the printer. Would definitely buy this again. Note to those who buy a drum from any supplier, Brother or otherwise: you will need to reset the drum counter after installing a new drum. Otherwise, your light will keep blinking. Resetting is easy. With the printer open, press and hold the home button for about 30 seconds. The displays light up. Release the start button and the car is like new. The drum light stops flashing.
