Over the past 5 years I have tried several Panasonic KX-TCA60 hands-free headsets with Comfort Fit headbands for use with cordless phones. They were great for under $9 but when the price went up to almost $15 I looked around and found them. They have about the same sound quality as the Panasonics (just great), but MUCH more durable and of higher quality, with a metal headband and stem. The cable is much thicker and the coil absorbs shock when the phone falls. The cable and plug connection killed all three or four Panasonics I had. The only issue is that I don't need a volume control on the cord and a clip to attach the cord to my shirt would be nice. Even then, adjusting the volume didn't cause any of the static issues you'd find with inferior stuff.
