At first I was worried there were few reviews. No information on the water temperature. So, as soon as I received it, I brewed a sample brew and measured the temperature. For a full video review that includes a temperature test, see YouTube. Pros: - Appearance. Looks interesting and attention-grabbing. - Water temp test showed results in the recommended range of 195-205 F. - Programmable feature is what I was looking for. - Reusable coffee filter is a plus if you don't like paper filters. Cons: - No really cons, but it's big and tall. It fits between the countertop and cabinets, but you have to slide it out to open the water tank lid and add coffee. I wish Cuisinart had a smaller 6-8 cup version of this coffee maker. - Yet again. Not really cons, but something to be aware of. Even without using the "Fatty" mode, the coffee turns out very strong, and if you don't grind the grains to medium coarseness, they can become bitter. Overall, this is a great coffee maker that makes pretty good coffee.
