This works much better than without a sleeve. It's a little pricey for what it is, but it's a lot better visually. If you want to caulk something, it won't caulk anything, there will be gaps around the hoses. If you have gaps in the wall and are concerned about rodents, inspections and drafts, they can still get into your home through the wall. thick your wires/hoses. Durable as the rubber part doesn't seem to wear out that quickly. Cons: A bit pricey but you know what's going on.
