Review on 🔭 CIPA 02000 COMP Universal 7x14 Marine Mirror - Black by Raji Bentz

When I ordered this mirror I mistakenly thought it was a 4 x 11 mirror so I was surprised at how big it was when it arrived. However, having used it to tow wakeboarders a few times, I'm glad I kept it. I also ordered a 4x11 that was substandard in almost every way (see my review) so I sent it back. First, the 7 x 14 is large enough that you can see most of what's going on behind you. between the two waking states. I can even see them being a little out of bounds. Second, the mounting bracket and adjustment options are vastly superior to the CIPA 4x11. The back is ball socket so you get a full range of adjustment like a car mirror. There is a handle to tighten once you get where you want it. The height can be adjusted up or down and with another knob for greater adjustments. It attaches securely to the top of the window and is super easy to remove when you're done towing people. I keep mine in the box when not in use. Sometimes I even forget to put it on and it's easy to do with one hand while having someone behind the boat. I usually mount mine on a center window so it doesn't block my view ahead. Even on the driver's window, it doesn't bother that much. The build quality seems solid and I expect it to last for many seasons.
