I really liked this timer, especially for study. Flashing colors were good for me and for my students to pay attention to. And I could use an audible alarm when doing group work so everyone can hear. Once you finish the countdown, there is an amazing "up" countdown. So if I checked the time carefully for myself, I could see how much "up" time we've gone. The problem is that the student banged on the table and the timer ran out. . It fell about 3 feet onto the linoleum and broke, so it doesn't work. This is a great timer, but too expensive to buy a few when you're around students. A great loss, of course. Otherwise I can only recommend this timer!
