I was hoping they would solve the horrible trifocal problem but. Oh. First the case: glasses are difficult to put in. The pressure required to overcome the resistance can damage the frame. Next the lenses: the area for reading up close isn't magnified as much as others I've bought from various sources (Amazon, grocery store, pharmacy, etc.). While this is advertised as a definitive increase, it doesn't match the increase other manufacturers list as being exactly the same. Also, I really have to strain my eyes to the bottom of the lenses to read, which is tiring to say the least and painful at worst. The average distance is excellent. Reading on my laptop is wonderful with them. Unfortunately I still have to change my glasses to switch between laptop and phone because the tricky part of those lenses (the underside of the near reading lenses) sucks. Distance: TV on the wall is fine. Angled or Direct Gaze: If you're not looking directly at the subject you're interested in, you're screwed. Just a slight glance/angle away from the direct direction and everything is blurry. You are so light. 1 star?
