I still find it a bit odd that they ship this thing with the pin set on the wrong side as you can see in the last photo of this review. Possibly to keep the shipping box smaller. Nevertheless, the complete assembly of this kit takes no longer than 2 minutes. The thing is very durable. I would have no problem attaching my large 200w video lights to this clip. The metal bracket is incredibly durable. The baby needle is very easy to attach to the plate with 2 screws. They bring the price down a bit by making the grip on the clamp screw plastic. That being said, it's a much cheaper option compared to other similar options from very well-known brands in the video production world. For what you get I feel you get a lot of value for your money. This isn't a clamp that's going to snap on you any time soon. It's solid build quality.
