This is the first time I've opened up a controller to change the color, up until this point I've only skinned. After discussing it and watching many videos, I decided to take the plunge. And WOW, I'm glad I did. This controller is truly mine now. The first time it took about an hour and I had a freeze which was more of a controller issue than this company's (stupid shoulder bar wouldn't come out and I had to buy another tool for that). If you're thinking of taking the plunge and trying this, I say go for it! The company will provide you with all the tools and extra screws so you don't have to worry about a thing. Take your time, watch the video and you have it! As for the buttons themselves, I would add, yes they are perfect and have a nice feel, BUT that feel may not be for everyone. I have chameleon buttons which have a lovely metallic sheen, so beautiful in person, but that also means they have a very different feel. It feels smooth, almost slippery. This doesn't bother me in the slightest as I'm used to metal controllers, but should be noted for those who don't like it. I'm not sure if their normal buttons have this "problem" or just chameleons, so just keep that in mind.
