Easy and secure installation on Cat 7a cable

I installed them on Cat 7a cable. The cable I'm using has 0.60mm diameter conductors between 22 AWG and 23 AWG. I've used them to make 2.5Gbps/POE+ connections to wireless access points, connect HDbaseT to TVs, and make jumper cables connecting devices to a patch panel in an AV+ network rack. These connectors are very convenient to use. They come with a piece of copper tape to wrap around the ground (I was taught to use copper tape with shielded cable, but these are the first connectors I've used that actually include the tape) and have a lightweight load bar. to work with, and it can be squeezed with your fingers if you're strong, or with pliers if you're not. I think I've installed about 30 of these connectors and none have worked. The only downside I've found with these plugs, besides their price, is that they're quite large. The housing and strain relief nut add about 2 inches to the RJ45 jack itself (compared to less than an inch on a traditional strain relief patch cord), and the jack housing is slightly wider than RJ45, so I can imagine what could B. Ethernet switches where it can be difficult to connect several of them side by side. Again, the cable I installed it on is itself quite thick (8.2mm) and a little stiff, so the size of the jack doesn't seem out of place. I have used other connectors for smaller gauge shielded cables and would have preferred them, but for larger cables these connectors seem ideal. I can recommend these plugs for large cables.
