These sandals have many adjustment points for fit and comfort. They're also wide enough in the toe area not to pinch them and are easy to tighten with the included elastic laces. There are two Velcro straps on the top with a strong plastic buckle so you can adjust the Velcro and then use the buckle to put your shoes on without having to readjust the straps each time. The arches and heel pads are not extreme but are comfortable when walking. Overall, the sandals are well made using lightweight materials and the stitching is strong. I would buy these sandals again for my daily trips to the market and light walks on the treadmills nearby. They appear to be washable and air dry quickly. They don't appear to be made from animal products, so should be suitable for vegans. Very good hiking shoe but wish there were more color options. I recommend them for everyday walking in all weather conditions except snow.
