I really wanted to like these fixtures. I ordered these because I wanted individually controllable LEDs, and if that's what you want, don't order them. It's not 300 individually controllable LEDs, but 100 groups of 3 controllable LEDs. It was my fault, I should have read more about it. That's not bad, the worst thing about this LED strip is that these lights are weak even with an external 12V 25A power supply. I'm not talking about a little dimming, I'm saying you can look directly at the LED without being blinded. I used an Arduino to program and this part worked and I was amazed at the brightness of the $26 LED strip until I got the entire strip to light up (I only had 10 banks to light up initially). Which power supply did I use? Glad you asked, this is a Powerwerx variable output power strip with an ammeter. The entire bar only drew 0.4 amps at full brightness. Very small for 300 LEDs. I figured. maybe it's a coincidence. No, tried another power supply, same result. Bottom line, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
