Does the job! on Color Refreshing Masks

I like this system - it definitely works. But depending on your goals, it's wise to compare the cost of these products to the price of a simple tinting service at your salon. If you're just trying to reduce your exposure to hard water, this mask alone will likely help. I have hard well water and my blonde hair is often dry with copper/yellowish undertones. I wanted something that would soften my hair and remove unwanted tones. The purple mask left my hair incredibly soft and smooth and relieved most of the ailments as well. However, I had to increase the processing time to an hour to achieve the desired color toning effects. Having used both I don't think the mask is as strong as the shampoo. In the end I decided I wanted an ashy look. I've read some shampoo reviews and seen people with lilac hair and I felt the FOMO sting. It was nothing but I bought shampoo. I'm glad I did β€” if your goal is ash, gray, or even lavender and you're on a tight budget β€” grab a shampoo instead. I accidentally left mine longer than intended (fell asleep in the bath, very safe lol). My hair has some predictable purple tones given the extra treatment time, but I LOVE it and get compliments. I invested about $50 in these products. I love love love my hair - but I'm wondering how this price compares to a salon. I believe the icing is around $20 when combined with my other hairdressing services. Balance and consider, but know that this is an effective and amazing line of products.
