I use my PC for both content consumption and gaming, so I'm in the interesting position of wanting a monitor that can render 4K for content consumption and has a fast response and refresh rate for gaming. I tried the ViewSonic 32-inch Mini 4K LED and ended up returning it as mouse ghosting was unacceptable for a monitor at this price point. "Odyssey Neo G7" costs 1/3 the price of ViewSonic and offers a much better experience. Colors and HRD are good for both content consumption and gaming. Black levels are good for providing a dark scene when needed and showing dark shadows in lighter scenes. There's a very small halo around some elements, but that's a good thing as you'll only notice it in very specific settings or configurations. This is my first curved monitor. I wanted a flat screen but decided to try this monitor as Revain has such a good return policy (30 days) that I was happy to try this monitor. The curve is acceptable for my seat and I can enjoy what I see on the screen. The key backlight adds a nice accent to your screen and eliminates the need to install an LED strip on your monitor. The back of the monitor to reduce eye strain in a dark room. eng. The controls at the bottom of the monitor take a little getting used to, once you've done that it's easy to change the modes or settings you want. The only thing I have for this monitor is the displayport deep sleep feature. A DisplayPort cable is typically used to connect a PC to a monitor since consoles use HDMI connectors. When the monitor goes into sleep mode, it puts the display port into deep sleep mode (you will hear Windows disconnect and reconnect sounds). When the monitor wakes up from displayport hibernation and you look at your windows that you left open, they are all resized and located in different places on the monitor. So when your monitor wakes up when it's connected to the display port, you'll spend so many minutes moving windows to where you want them if you set up your monitor to see many things at once, like I did. This Displayport deep sleep mode cannot be disabled at the time of writing this review. Hopefully Samsung will release a firmware update that will allow us to disable this mode if we wish. For now, the choice is yours: just live with it, or use HDMI when connected to a computer. Otherwise it's a great monitor and I'm glad I bought it.
