The bowl holds water with this

Well I just proved you get what you pay for. I tried another brand where I got 3 for $12. They fit, but the bowl doesn't withstand water. I thought it was a problem with the toilet. I didn't think it could be a seal. I put it in and the bowl holds water again. If the bowl doesn't hold water, fumes from the tank can also rise into an apartment building.
