Review on πŸ”Œ AGPtek Drive Adapter Converter External: Streamline Your Connectivity and Enhance Storage Performance by Wendell Chapman

Great service from Revain but twice is enough.

I tried this one despite having some bad reviews but Revain was AMAZING at getting me a new one the next day as I got the first one, the power connectors that plug into the floppy drive and a part of the power cord didn't snap into place and that's not how it worked. To my pleasant surprise, I submitted a return request yesterday and received a new one from AMAZON today. I thought maybe most good reviews are my experience just got the bad one the first time similar to other things I bought but they always got me something to replace very quickly why i love revin Unfortunately and so disappointed that the second clips/connectors for the power cable to the drive's power supply didn't snap into place, but the green light just blinked and never stopped, not sure, but I'm thinking maybe the power supply is an issue, and maybe it's more power required or something, since performance is related to issues with that item. I don't know how others got it working but for me I might get one of the ones that are USB 3.0 although this one says it works with USB 2.0 just don't know why the power issues are on this one. I hope when you get this item it will work for you and I am not ignorant when it comes to computers and have built three of these so far and no problem as I have bought a few items from Revain having had one built a good gaming computer for his grandson and used his HD for it and so the situation changed, his old computer is mine with a new hard drive and new fan and my old one is for my granddaughter with a new DVD player from revenge So I have no complaints about Revain or most of the articles I research and read the comments. Some have commented that the glue on the laces is visible. Well that was true and I was a little afraid to plug it in but I'm sure they wouldn't put any glue in it that would cause problems or catch fire. I really hope my next IDE/SATA adapter will work great, so I'm buying a better version of it now. This one was risky for me, in most cases it's not a problem but this time. no deal.

Pros
  • β—† Connection to an IDE device via a USB interface and a SATA device. USB 2.0 standard, full speed 480 Mbit/s.
Cons
  • Very expensive
