I bought 5 of these (and a few spares) to light artwork hanging on the wall. Building materials are durable. The light quality is the same from lamp to lamp, both in terms of color temperature and luminous flux. The light intensity is constant from lamp to lamp. This is important as all 5 bulbs are in the same room and on the same circuit. As long as the artwork is the same distance from the lamp, the light falling on the artwork will have the same intensity. If an artwork is so close to the lamp that it is noticeably brighter than the others, it is easy to apply neutral sealing gel to the lamp lens without overheating. Also, with dimmable lamps, I can adjust the light intensity to account for the changing outside light coming through the window at different times of the day. They do not draw attention - the white color and small size allow them to blend into the background of the white ceiling and focus on the artwork, not the lamp. They were easy to install and adjustable to a variety of angles.
