I LOVE these patches! I have very stubborn adult acne that will go away FOREVER as I get older. Once I get a new pimple (usually a deep cystic tumor) it takes weeks for the bump to shrink and heal. Also, I always have a red spot, even if I don't touch it and leave it alone. I've been using hydrocolloid patches for years because they help absorb pus and create a nice barrier/protective coating that helps keep my hands off it and keeps me from picking and squeezing it out. These patches are amazing because they also contain tea tree oil and salicylic acid that help heal the pimple faster. It's not a "microneedle patch" so they don't hurt either! I had a really annoying pimple at the corner of my mouth and it was really hard to tell if it was a pimple or the start of herpes. . I applied one of these patches after cleansing my skin before bed and woke up feeling like it was flat! No more raised bump. Since my skin tolerated it so well, I applied a few patches to other areas and left it on for a day. It created the perfect coverage to mask the redness and was almost invisible to those looking at my face. No makeup or cover-up required (hooray because it just adds more bacteria anyway!). At the end of the day I took off the patches and they turned white from the pus intake (nasty but cool! 😅). The pimples were flat, not dried at all and not scaly! They have a bit of an odd shape (oval) but work well for small areas. They come with two sizes per sheet (large and small). When I have a lot of pimples, I sometimes need multiple overlapping patches. For REALLY stubborn or large pimples, I change them more often when they start to turn white or "bleed" around the edges. Overall, this is a great way to cover up your acne AND heal it fast! I've found that they don't always help when they're really deep and not "to the head" yet. One way to make them work better on stubborn cystic acne is to use warm compresses or steam before applying (this will help attract bacteria to the surface better). They also work best on a clean face with no toner, moisturizer, or other products. To keep them from slipping, I even rubbed some rubbing alcohol on the spot beforehand.
