I used to have a smaller version of this type of bluetooth transmitter. I would plug it into the back of the TV, sync my headset to it, and I could listen to the TV without disturbing anyone. It was a portable device that needed charging and I usually forgot about it until the night I wanted to use it and of course it was dead. When I was looking for a replacement I wanted something that could be plugged in and always is operational when I am. It exceeded my expectations. It has an excellent sound when transmitting, it also works in both directions, so I can either watch TV through the headset or turn off the music from the TV, it's small, compact, doesn't take up much space, has a long range. Simple simple works perfectly as soon as you plug it in. I would advise you to read the instructions, although I'm one of those who don't and am a little stuck not knowing I had to put a specific button. Otherwise it was smooth sailing!
