Review on Bialetti Kitty Stovetop Coffee Maker, 4-Cup: The Ultimate Stainless Steel Brewing Solution by Greg Greiner

Love it so much I bought a second one

I have tried drip machines, espresso maker, cold brew carafe and ceramic drip jug. The elusive goal of making lattes as good as they are sold in trendy cafes was the driving force. I finally found this kettle and voila - great coffee. I bought a small size that brews 8 ounces of coffee. Then I add 4 ounces of hot milk, frothed or not. This makes a latte of the same quality as anything I've ever bought, except maybe the coffee I had in Venice, Italy, where I discovered that coffee can be delicious. Because it's stainless steel, I can use it on my induction hob. The only problem is that it only weighs 8 ounces, which for me is just perfect. So I bought a second one to use when a friend comes over. Both pans fit on the same induction burner. Love it. I buy gourmet coffee and spoil myself with it every day. At Starbucks it would cost a fortune.

Pros
  • Stovetop espresso and moka coffee makers
Cons
  • Can hurt
