Update: After a few months the bottom of the Bialetti Kitty tank rusted inside. I have to use steel wool to remove the rust after each use. It's quite difficult to reach the bottom of the container with your fingers because the hole is narrow. If you open and dry the tank immediately, it may not rust. But the pot is too hot and I go to work shortly after making my espresso latte. I have now invested in a larger stainless steel espresso maker with a wider base and hope it doesn't rust like this…

I gave it 1 star because it looks nice, otherwise it's unacceptable! Completely disappointed in this product! Less than one (1) week of use and the handle came off immediately! I hand washed it after use as I like to wash it with lemon juice and vinegar to get that polished shine that helps remove coffee oils and then let it dry on a dish rack.
