Review on Bialetti Kitty Stovetop Coffee Maker, 4-Cup: The Ultimate Stainless Steel Brewing Solution by John Hashman

I gave it 1 star because it looks nice, otherwise it's unacceptable! Completely disappointed in this product! Less than one (1) week of use and the handle came off immediately! I hand washed it after use as I like to wash it with lemon juice and vinegar to get that polished shine that helps remove coffee oils and then let it dry on a dish rack. After drying I gathered it up to put in the cupboard and when I picked it up the whole pot fell down and I was left with a pen in my right hand? With a week and less than 7 days of use! Luckily it was dry and empty. Imagine the pot being filled with hot espresso. The handle is attached poorly and cheaply. It came off as if it had been stuck on with Elmer's stationery glue. I remember seeing a Bialetti espresso machine on the stove for many years as a kid. My parents drank espresso and only bought Bialetti. Only in recent years, as they have aged and their income has become stable, have they started buying cheaper "imitation" brands that have flooded the mainstream market. Decided to buy my first Bialetti. I prefer stainless steel pans as I don't like the residue that forms in aluminum pans. I chose Bialetti, Kitty because he is so beautiful. The water belly sold me. ATTENTION: This pot, although very beautiful, is poorly finished and NOT MADE IN ITALY! Made in China. The box is printed with the UPC code and next to it it says: BIALETTI INDUSTRIE, DESIGNED AND DESIGNED IN ITALY, in capital letters and then in smaller/non-capital letters "Made in China according to Bialetti quality standards”. To add to the disappointment, there is a sticker on the package above the printed UPC (same UPC code) that reads: Bradshaw International Inc. Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730, [.], MADE IN INDIA? Aside from the confusion regarding manufacturer and place of manufacture, I am totally disappointed and feel betrayed. I read the same main complaint in another review of the Bialetti mug, Venus 6 stainless steel, and the person also mentions that I noticed this coating in the water belly of the Bialetti, Kitty as well. It doesn't give me confidence. Another hit. As another person's review says, I wonder what else they are trying to hide? Bradshaw International's supplier will be unable to provide a replacement for a further 2 months on the first attempt to obtain a replacement using the online returns process. unacceptable! The good ending is AMAZON refunded my money almost immediately and the phone operator Ray was great!
