professionally install. After installation, I started my truck and drove back and was rewarded with a big, beautiful 1080p image of what was behind me. Big! Now all I had to do was add a fallback raster to the image using the menu on the monitor. After some trial and error at the push of a button, the deed was done. Everything seemed to be working fine until the next time I put it in reverse and there was NO PICTURE on the monitor! Needless to say I wasn't happy. I've searched online for rear camera and monitor troubleshooting tips that will address my issue, but have come up empty-handed. My next step was to contact Revain for the seller's contact information for troubleshooting help, but before I head down that black hole I decided to take a last look at the monitor's menus to make sure I missed nothing. The product description lists this camera/monitor kit as a 2-channel setup, but nowhere in the product manual is it shown how to switch channels. Luckily, I've found that you can toggle between channels by holding down the menu button. As soon as I switched the monitor from channel 2 back to channel 1, everything worked great again! For those who may have no picture problem when installing this kit, you may just need to change channels on the monitor. Now that everything is working again I am very happy with this camera and monitor kit. The 1080p camera delivers bright, crisp daytime images and surprisingly good low-light performance. I hope this set will last for many years and I will buy again.
