Excellent budget mic stand, primarily for basic home studios and a limited number of gigs. If you want professional quality, you should probably buy a Shure mic stand with a heavy metal base. I have a suggestion for the seller to offer more colors than just black. I bought a stand for my kids project. I assumed my boys (ages 4-7-10) read Marxist literature since the older one plays a lot of socialist video games like Sim City and the younger one just got into The Wizard of Oz so he likes stuffed animals. I first ordered a mic stand and started converting it into a fun scarecrow for the boys to dance around and decorate as they saw fit, etc. I made the scarecrow's head on top of the mic stand and on the end of the scarecrow's arm a food funny ice cream cone. I never let the kids listen to music, so at least the youngest two don't have to recognize the shape of the mic so I can swipe it white like vanilla and then catch the eldest reading them a communist manifesto. But when I went with the vanilla coloring of the mic, everything sounds muted, and while it's not really the mic stand's fault, I think it would be great to have more color options in the future.
