For the price, the stand is strong and heavy. I particularly like how the base is weighted so it's balanced even when using a heavy condenser mic. The kit includes a pair of microphone holders. The only issue I have is that the knobs to turn the knob are a bit tight and they are plastic. Price wise they are more comparable to heavier racks that cost twice as much. I prefer these over generic brands. which costs about the same.

Yes, cheap. Plastic connectors make it crooked, and the weight of the boom and mic means it can't be straightened. Luckily I don't need that. I wouldn't trust this on stage if you're out with it. Be careful. For the studio, I think that's a normal CHEAP solution. But you'll probably need to buy the best sooner rather than later. Not a very good mic stand. I returned it within 10 minutes of its arrival. It's easy to assemble, it's a set of threaded pipes, easy to connect and screw together. Some connectors are non-metal, others are plastic threads with a plastic plug that screws them "tight" together. The problem is that plastic is very flexible and very cheap.
