The strength of this stand exceeded my expectations. Having bought cheap camera tripods that don't look exactly the same, I was expecting some wobble, but it's surprisingly stable. I wouldn't put it on a mic stand with a weighted stand, but for the money I think you'll be impressed. The plastic parts appear to be well made, but I wouldn't over tighten anything to avoid damaging the screw holes. There are no words in the assembly instructions, just tiny pictures to help you. So if you have poor eyesight, a magnifying glass or smartphone can help you visually. But I still managed to assemble it in under 5 minutes.
