Not a very good mic stand. I returned it within 10 minutes of its arrival. It's easy to assemble, it's a set of threaded pipes, easy to connect and screw together. Some connectors are non-metal, others are plastic threads with a plastic plug that screws them "tight" together. The problem is that plastic is very flexible and very cheap. You can't tighten it because the threads jump and so you can't build it to support any weight. I just put it together and was amazed at how poorly made it was. Each joint twisted under its own weight, tilting the posture more and more in every area. I didn't trust the top half to support the weight of the mic for fear the strings would snap again and the whole thing would fall in two. It has more toy quality than anything else. You would be surprised if a factory was confident in making them and thought everyone would want to buy them after seeing the finished product. I wish I could take photos or video to post along with my pre-purchase warning.
