I wouldn't trust this on stage if you're out with it. Be careful. For the studio, I think that's a normal CHEAP solution. But you'll probably need to buy the best sooner rather than later. There are so many cheap plastic parts on all telescopic joints. They come off too easily and can fall apart if you're not careful how far you pull them. Also, the round nut that holds the mic clip up is a stress point and should be metal. The flimsy plastic they contain sucks. It is possible to buy metal separately. and plan to replace it immediately when you buy it. I didn't get it back soon enough, so. I'm stuck on this case. Okay, I'll use it until it falls apart in a year. (my prediction)
