This kite is amazing. It's bigger than the ones you can buy at Walmart for a few bucks, and it's easier to take to the skies. Much better quality too. Love the little pouch it comes in to store it. We flew this kite for just over an hour with ease. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 for two reasons. The instructions he brought with him to explain how to assemble it are a bit confusing. After figuring out which stick goes where and that the sticks should fit inside each other, I put everything together pretty quickly. Another reason is that the handle it comes with is very similar to the super cheap handles on the Walmart kites mentioned above, and if you can get the kite airborne and the rope starts to loosen in high winds, yours will do ankle hurt! You can't predict when the wind will pick up, so I 'bite' the pen several times and now my arm hurts! The rope is not held in the small latches on the handle. The kite rips it out because they aren't big enough, and again the handle "bites" the hand. By that I mean that when the string suddenly stretches, causing pain, he'll smack his knuckles multiple times in rapid succession. I'm currently thinking about buying a reel for this kite.
