Potential short lifespan.but see update.
This LED is a great solution to halogen but the bulb does not last long enough to be a good value. This bulb was placed in a sheltered enclosure outdoors and permanently began losing brightness- with flickering, when the weather became colder (about 5 months after installation).Update 20210401: I ordered a similar bulb, but noticed my old review for the old model now shows under the newer product. So my original review may not be applicable to new model. The old model had LEDs around entire circumference of the cylinder shaped bulb. This newer model has LEDs only on one side. Appears to be equally bright if not brighter. Will monitor it's behavior and lifespan and update review as needed.
- Safety and Eyes Protection: white lighting,which is sunlight and comfortable,not harsh,don't create much heat and burning.
- May emit harmful UV radiation
