Review on Benfei Adapter Compatible Optical Support by Michael Harden

I bought this so I can use my PC's Blu-ray reader outside of the case as there was no 5.25" space in my new case. I only use it to copy the Blu-ray discs I buy, so I don't use it *often*, 1-4 times a month. This drive worked great in my PC, but now I have 2 perfect/blank discs that are having trouble reading. The drive sometimes shuts down when trying to spin up to maximum speed because it doesn't have enough power. I'm using a DC power adapter to plug it into a USB 3.1 port. Speed, but it also makes rips last forever. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone using it with a DVD/Blu-ray drive.
