This string light has had some issues. 1) There is one LED that doesn't change like the others in the chain. For example, if all indicators are set to blue, this LED will be amber. If everything is set to purple it will turn red etc. If you are using the color changing mode then this really isn't a problem. However, if you want to use a solid color, a single light that's out of place obviously looks weird. 2) The light controller appears to "fail". After a while the lights will reset as if they were unplugged and plugged back in and go through a start-up sequence where the light quickly cycles/flashes before reverting to the last selected color mode. Other times, the light will simply dim and stay off, requiring a change in lighting mode to get it working again. Although the listing states that the USB plug-in is also a bit inconvenient. You'll have to come up with a USB wall adapter yourself, which probably isn't a big deal, but then you can plug that flash drive-sized controller into that adapter.
