Review on Hakko C1390C 🔧 Omnivise PCB Retention Device by Issac Smart

These things are wonderful for working with electronics. However, spending $250 for 4 of them is a pain considering they are made in China and not very expensive to produce. They work remarkably well. I would highly recommend them for the price too. Depending on the size of the PCB you're working on, you'll probably need two to four of these. They hold the board stable enough over my convection heater to handle QFN and BGA rework just as well as a $1,000 board holder. The height is also adjustable, which is nice. It's one of those things that you never realized how much you needed until you got it (just like a video magnifier for small electronics). My only complaint about them is the price. First class product.
