Excellent movie monitor
I use it as a second monitor for my MBP to watch movies. He's very good for that. However, the backlight has a few hotspots on dark backgrounds in movies. Not critical, but not ideal. I was hoping it would be a little more consistent, but as a film monitor it's great. I mounted it on a VESA mount and it's great. Definitely a good buy.
