LG 24MK600M-B Monitor with Radeon FreeSync, 23.8 inches, 1920x1080p, 75Hz, IPS Technology Review

I'm not a gamer, I'm a developer, so I don't care about speed. It's big, bright, images are clear; all the requirements for my aging eyes. I needed to replace an existing monitor and it was the same size at a great price (open box). The audio doesn't seem to work, but I don't need it, so I won't find out why. It could be the monitor or my setup. It works on all my platforms: Windows, Mac and Linux, so I'm happy with it. There are enough inputs for my needs.

The picture is very clear and I like it. What I don't like at all: Proprietary power cord, why LG? zero possibility to adjust the viewing angle; and the monitor is tilted slightly downwards. The stand is VERY wobbly, the monitor "wiggles" a bit when someone walks by, etc. Small (and hidden) "button" for setting options, power management, etc. Planning to return this and buy something else. I'm disappointed as the LG products I've bought in the past have been well made.

During Covid work from home hours I took the risk to update and expand my home computer system. I recently bought a 13 inch Mac Air Book and wanted the ability to connect newer larger monitors to it. I bought this monitor new a month ago for just under $200. That's not bad. It's a good size, it works well, the quality isn't bad. The audio doesn't work and it looks like there's a protective film on it (it doesn't) giving it some texture, but overall it's decent for the size and price. I bought two of these monitors to use with my 2020 Keyed MBP. However, when using adapters, a kernel panic occurs on the computer almost every day. It reboots and says adapters or monitors caused an unexpected shutdown. This is quite annoying and may require a driver update. The workaround is to disable the adapters before the laptop goes to sleep. A minor inconvenience, but solvable. The monitors are great.

Oh my gosh. Apple wants a thousand and that works great for $150. I'm not a color specialist, so 100% color matching doesn't matter. BUT, as far as I can tell, the paintings have perfect colors. The text is sharp. HDMI fits my Mac Lap Top Pro. The operating system recognizes the LG signature. Ideally!

Don't stand so tight. Worked fine while it lasted. Fell forward once on the table accidentally pulling a string and that was it. The front end is completely damaged. Looked great, but the image was severely distorted

I can't compare it to anything else as I haven't had an external monitor in years, but I'm very happy with the clarity of the picture for the price.

I ordered it as an extra monitor for my laptop while traveling from home. Easy installation, excellent quality, no problems. I'm so glad I made this purchase! Worth every penny!

After owning it for a few months, it started flickering randomly. Now after owning it for a little over a year the colors are failing. There is discoloration and flickering every few seconds.

It is very good. Honestly, a great value monitor. The only thing I don't like is the stand, it looks kinda weird. I use this monitor (I have 2) for a dual monitor setup. Great monitor if you want to buy a bunch of these to use for productivity/multi-monitor/real-time graphics/big reports/analysis/nice picture stations. Actually turn on this vicious multi-monitor camera.

I'm not a hardcore gamer, so this monitor is fine for work and casual gaming. Easy installation. It saves my bad eyesight and prevents neck pain.

I know the blacks aren't particularly deep on this monitor, but the color is great and so easy to adjust. Highly recommended.

I use it as a second monitor for my MBP to watch movies. He's very good for that. However, the backlight has a few hotspots on dark backgrounds in movies. Not critical, but not ideal. I was hoping it would be a little more consistent, but as a film monitor it's great. I mounted it on a VESA mount and it's great. Definitely a good buy.

I bought this to replace a slow dimming monitor and also LG. Super bright, great for my business and also for PC gaming (no tearing effect).

I can't adjust these monitors up and down, they are the same height and that's it. So I craned my neck and looked down as I am a tall person.

Great monitor for a second screen in the home office. Easy setup, great picture. Warning: it's big. If your setup includes a small table where you sit close to the screen, you should look for a smaller model.

I've used one of these monitors to play 1440 games and it's been great. I liked it so much that because they are so economical I bought a second one so I could have a dual monitor setup. 54 inch screen is crazy and worth it. 10/10 recommend.

The screen produces a very clear, breathtakingly beautiful image. The colors are spot on and there is a wow feeling. I can't stay away I still haven't figured out how to open the monitor settings screen on my computer, but the settings via the button on the back are enough to set the monitor to your liking. Woman works from home most of the time due to COVID. Her job provided her with a laptop, but it only has a 15-inch screen. I bought two of these monitors with docking stations. She has to open several applications at the same time, and they suit her perfectly. I am not familiar with gaming on these monitors as they are only used for work purposes. Shipping was fast. They arrived a day earlier than expected.
