I was concerned because someone said I should try using cotton balls to brush my teeth and if I'm okay with that I will agree. Teeth, though strong and dense, but the gums don't sting. The reason I got it is because my husband's gums are so sensitive that even if he brushes his teeth gently his gums still bleed. Despite being dense, my teeth feel very clean. While I feel like my toothbrush cleans 80%, the other 10% comes from flossing and using mouthwash. I also use a tongue scraper as the back end doesn't fit me. When I'm done brushing my teeth, I usually run my thumb over the bristles and fetch as much water as I can at night. It's dry and ready to go again. I also leave my toothbrush in a small cup of mouthwash for 30 minutes once a week just to make sure there aren't any extra bacteria around. Overall it helps a lot and I won't hesitate to buy it again!
