Only 4 months lens life. I'm a real estate photographer. All my work gear is packed in a soft pelican case. I do about 12 houses a week. One day I just hear something rolling in the lens, zoom and focus are locked, it's become useless. Photos are crisp and colors are good, but when it comes to durability, this isn't a professional lens. Absolutely not recommended. The worst investment I've ever made in equipment was buying used lenses (kept in the same Pelikan case) and using them for over 4 years with no problems. Definitely stay away from this lens.
