Disappointing shock absorber for industrial use

i purchased this shock absorber under the impression that it would provide excellent shock and vibration control for my machinery .Unfortunately it failed to meet my expectations and only lasted a few weeks before showing signs of wear and tear. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I can say that this product is not up to par for industrial and scientific use..
