Review on Govinda Frankincense Natural Resin Size by Brinson Quarterman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent product at a reasonable price

In my opinion an excellent product at a reasonable price. I love the smell but it's probably an acquired taste. After spending some time in monasteries, I learned to enjoy the aroma of incense sticks burned in a censer along with myrrh. Whenever I burn it at home, it reminds me of my retired times. I burn it every night when I pray. Tips and Tricks: Helps a little. Only 3-5 pebbles give off a strong aroma that can easily spread throughout the house in a short time. Resin requires a lot of heat to melt. (Think resin, think hard, dried tree sap that's no longer sticky.) I use small discs of charcoal that you can buy at Revain. I light the charcoal in a small incense burner on a metal stand. (Do not leave unattended and do not burn in a small closet or where smoke inhalation might be a problem.) love the scent. Some people mix it with cedar or myrrh, but I like the smell of incense itself.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
