Smells best of incense in incense sticks and incense holders

I bought incense in Dubai and when it ran out I had to find something similar. I found this at Revain and decided to give it a try. You definitely get a lot for the price and it makes the house smell delicious. I use it on Sundays when I clean the house. That's great!

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Lack of consistency in product quality

I have purchased this several times and have been quite happy with previous purchases. However, this latest bag is NOT in export quality. Instead of the size of a pea, I ended up with a bag of sand-sized incense, suitable for a large ceremonial spoon but not for individual use. Consistency in quality would have helped improve my rating.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons

No smell a lot of sand

Item received today, was well packaged. I noticed a lot of sand in the packaging that kicked up when I lit it up a bit. Some resin pieces had no odor at all when burned, a few darker pieces smelled faintly of incense when burned. Leads me to believe that only about 1/16th of the product is genuine. I will not buy again. Kind of a disappointment, the search for a good mass incense continues.

Smells like church best in Home Fragrance

Almost no scent out of the bag. But if you put it on a hot coal, it smells just like a Catholic church at Christmas mass. What I do is try to pick the pieces with the most bubbles on them, they have the most "juice" if you know what I mean. You can also throw them in the fire, they will still burn and give off a calming and restful scent. But the pieces are too small, I think I will look elsewhere for larger, better quality incense.

  • Very good value for money

Wonderful Incense

I grew up Catholic and it definitely reminds me of all the beautiful ceremonies I grew up with. It is high quality and durable. I recommend setting aside a small coffee grinder for incense sticks and grinding them into a powder. I've found that it lasts even longer this way and you can control the burn more precisely (you can also use the powder to infuse your own essential oils etc). Just remember that the resin becomes hydrophilic after grinding, so store it in an airtight container or it…

Another BIG Govinda resin!

Another excellent Govinda resin. I burn this stuff every day and I love it. I sometimes use charcoal discs, but mostly I use a potpourri burner that uses a tea light and raises the tea light a bit while the resin rests on a small square of foil. Yes I know. You don't want to burn and inhale the foil. Not me. Tea lights don't burn like that. It actually just melts the incense until it turns black and begins to give off a "darker" scent. I just let the slide cool, scrape the leftovers into the…

Smells amazing once it burns out

This is the first time I've actually bought resin and not incense. I burned it with light charcoal and it put out a lot of smoke, almost more than we could handle, but it's a learning curve. The smell of fumes coming straight from the resin smells a bit like smoke and you don't get the full appreciation of how great it is until you leave. Don't smell the smoke directly, burn it and your house will smell like a temple or catholic church at Christmas mass. I only burned a large pinch, and that…

Excellent product at a reasonable price

In my opinion an excellent product at a reasonable price. I love the smell but it's probably an acquired taste. After spending some time in monasteries, I learned to enjoy the aroma of incense sticks burned in a censer along with myrrh. Whenever I burn it at home, it reminds me of my retired times. I burn it every night when I pray. Tips and Tricks: Helps a little. Only 3-5 pebbles give off a strong aroma that can easily spread throughout the house in a short time. Resin requires a lot of heat…
